I am very blessed to have a wife that understands my desire to fight cancer. In 2003 I lost one of my closest friends to cancer and during his treatment I shaved my head in support of his fight. Unfortunately I was unaware of the St. Baldricks organization at that time.
That is no longer the case. I'm shaving my head once again in memory of Bradford Henderson and to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. I am only asking for $1. Yep...that's it...just a buck.
There are lots of commercials on television telling you about what you can get for just $1...but this is different. Your dollar could actually cure cancer. How about that?
Not only does this volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government, but also it provides a visual cue to people that cancer affects everyone.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
