I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tulane SOM Class of 2015

Hey family and friends :) In a month, I'll be bald for St. Baldrick's. Please help me out in raising money to fund research for childhood cancer. I have donated my hair before, and now that I'm in med school, I think it's the perfect time to take the next step. I have to admit, I'm nervous but I promise to post pictures of the event, so you'll get to see the after effect! Any donation is appreciated! I hope you're all doing well and that you had a happy new year. Love, Anna P.S. Found an interesting blog entry from a nurse writing for the New York Times. Check it out in my Update Stream (it's a tab up toward the top). Here's more about the event: I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
