David Heard died from cancer. He was an amazing individual who never failed to make me smile every time I saw him. Sadly, I moved away from Easton the year his fight with cancer begun. He was my sister's friend from the day they met in preschool. In remembrance of him and other children who died of cancer or lost their hair going through chemotherapy, I will be shaving my head on May 21st as a symbol of unity.
