I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bocce Balds (and friends)

Dear Family & Friends,

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So, I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I am now entering my 3rd year of fundraising for St. Baldrick's. By the overwhelming support of all of you, I was able to raise over $4,600 in 2019, and have now raised over $8,000 for St. Baldrick’s! Our team captain, Matt Wieczorek (going into his 14th year of supporting this great cause), has once again, gotten the team back together, as well as adding a few recruits to raise monies for this very important cause. As a team last year, we were able to raise over $13,000 and with our larger crew this year, Matt has set our sights even higher at $20,000 for 2020. We understand that this is a lofty goal but one that we are hopeful that our wonderful family and friends will be willing to get behind us and support!

As I explained last year, our support of St. Baldrick’s is near and dear to my heart as my family has been personally impacted by childhood cancer as we lost my brother, Nicholas, at the age of 11 to leukemia. He had been in remission, but the cancer returned, and he eventually lost his courageous battle in 1993. Cancer treatment continues to expand and improve, and it is my humble request that you think about a possible donation. Any donation, big or small, is more than appreciated and goes towards the fight to cure childhood cancers.

Again, our team goal this year is $20,000 of which, my personal goal is once again set at $5,000. As always, I strive to be able to pull my weight on this team, as we support St. Baldrick's and this very worthy cause. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

My sincere thanks and appreciation,

Angelo Isgro – 3rd time shavee
