I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U. S. will not survive. This year I am going bald in honor of an angel, Caleb Jacobbe. Caleb Jacobbe was the older brother of Lauren Jacobbe, someone who I hold very close to my heart. Caleb was a young boy who had a passion for sports and the Boston Red Sox. Caleb was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, a type of kidney cancer, and he battled it for over a year. In 2006, 8 year old Caleb Jacobbe was taken from this earth. He had a whole life ahead of him. I want to do everything I can to help minimize the amount of families that have to go through the pain and suffering that the Jacobbe’s did.  I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids. Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
