I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Iowa Chrome Domes

So stoked that my new workplace deeply supports a cause that is the #1 passion of our family...destroying childhood cancer.

This disease rocked us 3 years ago and that damage will be forever present. But we are not alone...and our goal should be to protect anyone else from it hitting them.

That's why I put our kiddos picture on my page instead of mine. Though losing a child is devastating, losing a brother is even harder. They are the strongest 3 of all of us and I couldn't be a prouder father. But that doesn't need to be the case...if we find a cure or less invasive treatments it will change the world.

We learned in our journey the average treatment time is 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years for a child. That is a HUGE chunk of your childhood robbed from you. This must stop.

Also, that means parents, grandparents and others need to get children to treatment. They need to stay with them at the hospital. They need to pay for it. Childhood cancer is a nuclear bomb that affects everyone associated to that child in many ways. This has to stop.

Though I won't pull off the look like my boy Cameron, I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! This chrome dome look has been cleared with the most important people...the ladies in my household. As Annie says "They control my look".

Heart-wrenching stats to consider...Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
