Hi y’all, my name is Abigayle Castine. Childhood cancer research has always been near to my heart. That’s why being a part of Geaux Bald and raising awareness for St. Baldricks is a top priority of mine during my time in medical school. St. Baldrick’s kids deserve the chance to live free of sickness and funding cancer research is the first step in finding a cure.
What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child?
At our event, some will shave their heads – and others like me will keep the hair we have and put our hearts into supporting childhood cancer research.
During the pandemic, donations have been down, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants.
I want to make sure kids know we care. You can help by donating to fund more research to save lives. Thank you!

Your Roles
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
