I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: #NoFuzz

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: #NoFuzz

After being inspired by Linda Watkins , a selfless woman who volunteered her hair cutting skills to support this event prior to her passing, I decided to participate as a hair donor.

However, as I started to talk about my desire to brave the shave, not everyone was happy about the idea (you know who you are!). So after getting the green light from the appropriate administrators, I'm putting the question to the test of your generosity.

If you would like for me to SHAVE my head, click the green DONATE button above. But if you want me to grow it a bit longer before I make a donation of the same length (18") to Wigs For Kids (with some locks left over afterward), click over to stbaldricks.org/participants/NoShaveTLC and make a donation. Whichever account receives the most donations decides what I'll be doing in the barber's chair.

So where will your donation go? Toward science that is exploring ways to stop childhood cancers. The cancers that kids get are differ rent from adult cancers. Sadly childhood cancers are an extremely underfunded area of research. But we have an opportunity to do something about that right now, today.

Should my hair be donated on September 27th? Or when it's a bit longer? It's up to you to decide. Click the green DONATE button at the top of the page if you want me to see me bald! And know that every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
