I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM RAINBOW

I have met some pretty amazing kids and families here at Rainbow and while I don't have the kind of medical expertise to help them, I do my best to help them have some fun while they're here. What I can also do is make sure that the people who DO have the medical expertise (like so many of the amazing doctors and nurses and researchers here at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital) have the tools and support they need to get the job done by helping to raise money for childhood cancer research!

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures by shaving my head on March 14th. I do it in solidarity with all the kids who are going through treatment and often don't have a choice about their hair loss, but also so that people will sponsor me and we can see that money go directly to the kind of research that is finding cures every day!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
