I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research


Friends,

Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.


After reading that, I put myself in another parent’s nightmare for a moment, thinking about the magnitude and difficulty of dealing with childhood cancer. That's why I joined St Baldrick’s foundation (going on my 4th year) and on March 13th I will be shaving my head again to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research, and to honor friends and family who have been taken from us by this horrible disease!


St. Baldrick’s is a not-for-profit organization that funds grants for childhood cancer research through head-shaving events and other fundraisers across the globe, so kids with cancer can live long, healthy lives.


I need your help!  It doesn’t have to be a big donation, every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
