I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Albany Avenue Avengers

Hi! I am in my 10th year as a volunteer raising money to help find cures and treatments for kids cancers.  I lost my dad to cancer when I was just 20 years old.  Then my best friend was diagnosed at age 34 with breast cancer. She fought a brave fight for 7 years with me by her side. I saw first hand how hard the treatments were.

All through my adult life I have raised money for cancer research. Through St Jude, American Cancer Society and Susan G Komen. But I decided to focus on helping children fight and beat cancer because they just don't get their fair share of research dollars.

Less than 4% of the money the government gives to cancer research goes to help cure and treat kids cancers. I really felt the need to help make up the difference and give kids a fighting chance not only to be cured, but to be cured with their brains and bodies able to develop well. To find treatments that are effective but gentler on little ones. Please help - donate today!
