I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kapiolani

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Kapiolani

Last year, I heard about this crazy fundraiser for childhood cancer research and I was inspired by it. What was even more inspiring was when my beloved husband, Mark, offered to shave his head for this cause. Together, we raised more than $1600 for Team Kapiolani and Mark was bald for the first time.

This year, we decided we want to make an even bigger impact: we're BOTH shaving.

That's right. I am going to #BraveTheShave with my husband. Because it means that much to us. Because cancer is extremely unfair to anyone, but for children that represent so much hope, it's excruciating to watch the dynamics of what cancer does to a child and their support network--and not be able to ease their burden.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Help make a difference to children who need it most. Be a part of our team by supporting the cause. Make my hair count.

With all my heart, Mahalo.
