Most of us can only imagine the range and depth of emotions experienced by a family when their young loved one is battling childhood cancer. St. Baldrick's has declared war on this so obviously unfair scourge of humanity. I invite you to join St. Baldrick's in this just war. The warriors are the physicians and hospitals researching ways to defeat these terrible diseases we know as "childhood cancer." If you are interested in volunteering your time, hair or financial assistance, visit the St. Baldrick's website. There you will see the excellence of the medical researchers, their prestigious medical facilities, St. Baldrick's board of directors and financial accountability. Grants previously awarded are also listed on the website. For those of us who think all charitable dollars should be local, please notice that CHKD in Norfolk was awarded a grant last year. St. Baldrick's is a relatively young "army" (founded in 2000). In my experience too few people are aware of us. I urge you to become aware by going to the website and exploring the legitimate devotion to this struggle. We WILL win!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
