I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Please join me at 1pm on Saturday, March 9th for my 11th annual shave supporting St. Baldrick’s. This year’s event will be held at Bourbon Street located at: 3359 W 115th St, Merrionette Park, Illinois 60803. Online donations can be made at: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/RobBeseckerEverestStrong19. Because kids with cancer often lose their hair during treatment, shavee’s like myself show our support by shaving our heads (and my beard) voluntarily, and inspiring friends and family to donate money to support childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's is an organization that works closely with leading pediatric oncologists to determine the most promising research to fund and create funding priorities to make the greatest impact for children with cancer. Many of us have personally endured or supported a loved one through a cancer diagnosis. My father was diagnosed in 2008, and after a brave battle, succumbed to the disease in January of 2009. I have been an active participant (shavee) with St. Baldrick’s ever since... Feel free to contact me at 708-224-8173 with any questions and concerns. Come out and enjoy the day! Rob
