I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I’m going to do something pretty extreme once again, and I’m writing to ask you to join me in one of two ways: You can join me in what I’m doing, or you can support me with a donation for childhood cancer research! For the ninth straight year, I’m going to have my head shaved at a St. Baldrick’s Foundation event on March 15, 2018 at Ri Ra Irish Pub in Midtown Atlanta.

With my bald head, I’ll stand in solidarity with kids being treated for cancer. But the real point of all this is to raise money for life-saving research, because research saves lives, and kids' cancers are different from adult cancers. I’m doing it for infants, children, teens and young adults fighting cancer. While it’s especially hard to think of kids fighting cancer, I’m glad to know that some of the research supported by this foundation ultimately helps to fight all cancers. Please make a donation on my head and come watch us “Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids’ Cancer!”

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
