I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rebels Warriors

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rebels Warriors

It's that time of year again! I will be shaving my head once again for the awesome St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

However, this year will be a little different in more ways than one. Last year my amazing friend Danielle ‘Rebel’ Duncan “encouraged” me (aka threaten to pull me by my hair lol) to #bravetheshave with her. Rebel fought and beat a rare form of cancer at the age of 14, and for the past several years, she’s been dedicated to supporting this Foundation. Last year after the event Rebel found out her cancer was back and unfortunately, this time lost the battle. So, this year rather than shaving our heads together in solidarity, I will be shaving my head in honor of the strongest badass woman I know. The event this year has landed on what would have been Rebel’s 38th birthday so our team (Rebel’s Warriors) is determined to raise $3,800 for the cause!

Since COVID is still very much a thing, all events will be virtual. Even though our team won’t be all together for the event, we will be streaming live on Facebook when we brave the shave! If you would like to join us during our Facebook Live, we will be kicking the event off this Saturday, March 6th, at 1:00p, and we would love to see you there!

Much love!!

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.

I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive.
