I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

While it may not be a big deal to shave my head (it's amazing how quickly it grows back!), the amazing work that is done with the money we raise is. While we are blessed to have two beautiful, healthy children, we know too many families that are facing, or have faced, the pain and challenge of having a child with cancer. In fact, among the children that I'm honoring are Brianna Sharp, whose "Start strong, finish stronger" motto became the mantra of Greta's golf team this season. Unfortunately, she lost her brave battle this past July. And Jack Czapla, the four year-old son of good friends of ours, who was recently diagnosed and is now undergoing treatment that is expected to last the next three years and beyond. Contributing to this cause brings hope that new, more effective treatments will be developed, sparing another family from the devastation created by childhood cancer. Please consider donating on my head!
