Almost everyone knows someone who has battled cancer. It is everywhere and attacks people of all races and ages, even kids as young as me. I have decided to join the battle against cancer.
On March 10, 2013 I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures for cancer. I am honoring a boy my age, Matthew McClure, who lives in Jacksonville, Florida and was diagnosed with leukemia in 2007 when he was only 4 years old.
Please join me in my fight for Matthew McClure and support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to Matthew and other infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
