I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I never understood the pain of losing anyone, never mind a loved one, until my dad died when I was 13. This event obviously isn’t about me or him, but it is important to me to participate because I have met many kids on my grief journey who have lost siblings or parents to cancer. If I can help keep one family together for a moment longer, shaving my head and whatever money I can raise will be worth it. I look forward to standing in solidarity with all the families and children who are struggling with cancer.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
