I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Transatlantic Reinsurance Co

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Transatlantic Reinsurance Co

The St. Baldrick's Foundation has raised an incredible $117M through nearly 200,000 volunteers since its founding in 2000. This tremendous organization funds research grants for cures for childhood cancers. Many of my fellow Transatlanic employees have volunteered over the years by shaving their heads in solidarity with children with cancer. I am joining their ranks this year, along with my colleagues Bill Naftel and Nick Tzanateas, to continue the fight. As these things sometimes go, cancer has taken a very personal turn in my life. My youngest daughter Margy, at just 3 years old, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on June 10, 2011. I am happy to report that through the efforts of the incredible staff at New York Presbyterian - Weill Cornell, Margy is doing extremely well and is about to start her maintenance therapy. Her prognosis is excellent thanks to decades of life-saving research dedicated to advancing cures for cancer. Please support the many children and their families battling cancer and team Transatlantic by clicking "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Be sure to check out my pictures and videos - just click the links above. I would also like to encourage you to register with Be The Match to be a potential bone marrow donor for a person in need of a transplant. Thank you so much!
