I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm shaving my head to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research!
Childhood cancer research is underfunded. One of my best and oldest friends is a firsthand witness of this fact. When the initial chemotherapy for Leann's son's aggressive leukemia didn't work, the answers were hard to find. The protocol that finally put Jordan's cancer into remission was based on a study of only 7 children! Current available research gives him only a 46% chance of survival, and a 100% chance of adverse long term side effects. These statistics are unacceptable. We can do better! The hope for better treatment, reduction of side effects, and a cure will come from research. Will you make a donation in honour of Jordy Burch?
