I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alburtis Bald Eagles

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

This is personal, too. My teaching partner, Jamie H., has a daughter, Clara, who has been battling brain cancer. Thankfully, she is cancer free right now. Also, one of my students had an older brother who was not so fortunate. At the age of 6, Parker L. lost his battle with neuroblastoma. This is why there are 6 kids in my class alone who have volunteered to shave their heads! Three are girls!! They will be shaving at our EMMAUS SHAVE FOR THE BRAVE EVENT on March 8th. I am so proud of them and all the volunteers and donors who have been so generous.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
