I've talked about it for a while, but now the time is here! On March 11th, I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, and to raise money to find cures.
My "kid to honor" is Katie Palermo, a student at the school for which I intern. Katie has been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Please support her by donating to the St. Baldrick's Foundation through my page. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support not only Katie, but all of these kids. Thank you!
