I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Long and Short Of It

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Long and Short Of It

It's time to harvest this HAIR farmer's crop.  Let's go double-duty:  Wigs-for-Kids donation AND St. Baldricks!!!  I've carefully tended this crop for 4 years now giving up blowdryers and swimming pools, spending weekends in gooey coconut oil or mayonnaise hair masks--anything to make a worthy crop for some little munchkin who needs this hair much more than I.

So I'm lopping this mane to donate to Wigs-for-Kids and to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So my Teammate Vic and I (he's the short, and I'm the long in our team name) decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. $1,000 helps support one child on a clinical trial, which is often their best hope for a cure.  Will you help us reach our team goal of supporting at least two children in a clinical trial?

Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers; and I appreciate your consideration in donating to this very worthwhile cause.  Please also consider reaching out to your company to acquire a matching donation!
