I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research
On March 14th, I will be volunteering at the St Baldricks event at my school. As a volunteer I have also agreed to donate 8 inches of my hair to the Helping Children With Hair Loss Charity.
I am so proud to be doing this in honor of my Auntie Maria. We lost my aunt to lung cancer on February 16th, 2014. My aunt lost all of her hair and had a wig made but never got the chance to wear it. I know she would be so proud of me. She had talked about getting better and being able to help children who were battling cancer, but never got the chance to do so. It makes me happy to think that my hair will make a wig for a child who is fighting cancer and loses their hair. Please help me raise funds in honor of my aunt, Maria Xiques-Lepko
Thank You!
