I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Krista's Crusaders

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Krista's Crusaders

All I have are memories of her. Everything else is an “if only”.

You know, “if only” she did not get cancer, “if only” she was in remission, “if only” I would have said or done this/that when she was with us, or “if only” there was a cure. So many “if only’s”.

Every day, I work hard not to dwell very long in the “if only world” before I come back to reality (it is easy to get stuck there). I then focus on what I can do. Being just one person though, I can’t do much but I can do something. So I shave my head to raise money for research, I donate what I can, and a I pray. Many of you have helped and continue to help too.

THANK YOU to all of you who have endured my posts, have prayed for these children, sent me notes, and/or financially supported this cause.

Finding a cure will take more than any one of us can do but everyone working together takes us a little closer. Children should not have to suffer the way these kids do.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research.
