I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The New Villiage Idiots

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The New Villiage Idiots

I'll be honest with you all, my experience directly dealing with cancer in general is very limited. But I also work in the medical field, and as such, I'm privy to seeing and dealing with patients and their families in all and every stage of their lives. As such, I've had the unenviable position to come in contact with cancer victims and the horrors they rot on the person and their body. I shudder to think the fear and horror I know kids are privy to at their age and faced with something so daunting.

Kids are our future! Let's not have their future robbed by something as horrific as cancer!!! I know people, good people, who have had their fair share of fights with cancer and it's ilk. And I am tired of seeing the suffering! I'm tired of our future being robbed of so many wonderful experiences! I say we stand together and fight for their future!

I'm shaving my head in honor and recognition of those who can't raise their voices loud enough because they are too weak; for those that are fighting from a bed in a hospital too frail to go outside and enjoy life; for those that had their candles snuffed out too early in life; that no parent should ever have their child go before them by a disease. I shave for the kids who are fighting and have fought the diseases of cancer!

Help me help them by raising funds for critical and life saving research!
