I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Regulars

I am proud to announce I will be shaving my head for St. Baldrick’s for the 11th year to stand with kids who don’t get the choice.

As a coach, I spend my life around young people. I get to watch them chase dreams, compete, grow, and become the people they’re meant to be. But too many kids are forced into a fight they never asked for — a fight against childhood cancer. And this year it once again hit close to home as one of the Junior Raider Wrestlers was diagnosed with Cancer and had to miss the season so he can fight like the warrior he is. Heart of a wrestler!

Those kids show a level of courage and toughness that puts everything else into perspective.

This is my way to show solidarity with them and the families walking through that battle every single day. Hair grows back. For these kids, the fight is much bigger.

If shaving my head can help raise awareness and support research that gives even one more child a chance at a healthy future, it’s the easiest decision in the world.

Proud to stand with the warriors fighting this battle.
