My son is a leukemia survivor, but the fight doesn't end with remission. Though he's beaten cancer, the long-term health impacts of his treatment will follow him throughout his life. From potential heart issues to developmental challenges, the effects of cancer treatment can be lifelong and often unseen. By supporting St. Baldrick's, we can help fund research that improves treatment, reduces side effects, and ensures that future survivors have better outcomes. Thank you for helping us make a difference. The sad truth: A recent study shows that because of the treatments they had as kids, by the time they’re 50, more than 99% of survivors have a chronic health problem and 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions.
