I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Since I am already (at least!) 50% bald, this may not seem like such a big step to some of you! To sweeten the deal, I will be personally matching any donations made in support of my shaving, and my match will be matched by my work, so you'll be getting a triple play for your donation. If you also get your employer to match, you'll be quadrupling your impact!
So I am really hoping that you'll support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Please click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
The actual event is March 3rd at Jamison Pour House in Jamison, PA.
