I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: UMaine CKI

10 years!

It is hard to believe that it was September of 2011 that I first learned of the St. Baldrick's Foundation through the UMaine Circle K Club! After my first head shaving and seeing the incredible impact we could make for children with cancer, I have committed myself to fighting for children with cancers!

Now 10 years, over a dozen head shavings, and planing numerous events I am more committed than ever to stand in solidarity with children who have cancers and show them that they are not alone!

I want to thank every person who has joined me along the way by donating, volunteering, supporting, raising awareness and just simply doing whatever they could to help! It is because of all of you coming together as a community that we continue to make a change in the lives of children year after year!

It is my hope that in 10 years we won't need to shave heads anymore, that we will have helped to fund break through research and cures but until then, I will never rest until childhood cancers are conquered once and for all!

Love,

Daniel
