I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Pure

You heard it right -I'm having my head shaved (That means beard and all!) to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer who typically lose their hair during treatment, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
I've chosen to lend my efforts to this cause because I have witnessed firsthand both the loss and the triumph in the fight against cancer. Not only have I lost family to cancer but I also have a Grandmother who is a breast cancer survivor twice over. Finding a cure is one of the great challenges of our time, and while many are involved in the fight against cancer there are none more brave and heroic than those that carry the direct burden of the disease, and none more courageous than children. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please let their strength be an example and stand with me in solidarity with these heroes by making a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

You can lend your support with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, by joining my team and volunteering as a shavee or barber, or simply showing your support at the event. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
