I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On November 13, 2008 I heard the words that no parent ever wants to hear. "I'm so very sorry but your daughter has a cancerous brain tumour." She was only 5 years old. Since then she has courageously fought 6 times. She has had 5 major brain surgeries, months of chemo, gamma knife surgery, 123 rounds of radiation and countless days spent at SickKids having procedures. 

Shaving my head with The 46 Mommas in 2012 really showed me how every single person can make a difference when we all come together! 

This year I will be shaving with people who have made Jadyn's fight and quality of life possible! Her neurosurgeon Dr. Drake and her ophthalmologist Dr. Mireskandari!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
