I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

First off let me tell you about a little Angel named Lily Von Williams. Lily began receiving Chemo treatments for Acute Myeloid Leukemia at Miller Children's Hospital in January of 2013. By May of that same year her cancer was in remission! The joy of conquering cancer was short lived as her parents learned the Chemotherapy treatments had damaged Lily's heart. She was placed on the heart transplant list. Her dad (Matt) had vowed to wear RED SHOE'S everyday until little Lily received her new heart. Thus, Red Shoe's for Lily was created. (Google it!)

By the end of September 2013, we were all devastated to learn that Lily's Leukemia had returned.

On Friday, October 25th 2013, Lily Von Williams became one of heaven's bravest little angels. She was 5-years old.

In honor of Lily, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
