I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope for Daisy

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hope for Daisy

In June of 2014, I had the opportunity to meet Daisy and her family at Sloan Lake for a walk benefiting brain cancer.  Daisy was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013 at the age of 6 and had a relapse in September of 2015 after 18 months of clear scans.  Getting involved with this wonderful family really touches home for when I was about her age I was paralyzed from the neck down and on a respirator at the age of 9.  I was lucky to have someone there supporting me, giving me hope that soon I would get better and make a full recovery.  Having the opportunity to be there for Daisy and give her the support needed during this difficult time really inspires me to do everything I can.
