I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! I have wanted to do this for a while now, because I am so saddened every time I hear about children having to deal with this burden. When I learned how underfunded children's cancer research is I knew I had to do my part to not only help, but to bring awareness to the issue. Being a hairdresser who sees so many people not only in my own chair, but in the salon in general, I felt that going bald would be a great way to get that conversation started! Only through awareness can we begin to bring in the proper funding needed to cure childhood cancer.

Now I need your help with the hard part! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
