I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Julia's Hope & Strength

Hey y'all! I'm so excited to be participating in St. Baldricks for the FOURTH TIME! ✂️❤ St. Baldricks and Julia's Legacy of Hope are amazing foundations and I'm so very proud to be associated with them. As most of you know, I am shaving to honor my best friend's little sister, Julia, who was diagnosed with pediatric cancer at the young age of 16. She fought hard and was so brave throughout her entire battle, but unfortunately lost her battle when she was only 20 years old. Pediatric cancers are different from adult cancers, and the medicines/treatments we have now aren't meant for kids. These treatments often cure one cancer, but are the cause of secondary ones, which is exactly what happened to our dear Julia. This is why we are working so hard to find better treatments these brave kids. Together, we have already done so much! Over the years, Julia's Legacy of Hope has raised enough money to fund TWO research grants! We are so much closer to finding a cure. So please, help us raise money to find better options for these amazingly brave kids. We are so grateful for your continued support. Thanks again to everyone who has helped and I look forward to seeing you guys at the event! I especially look forward to all the head rubs I'm gonna get once I'm bald!
