I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Greetings all – I’m baaaaaaack…! for the ninth consecutive year I have the privilege and honor to participate in the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation event, scheduled for March 19, 2016, at Campbellsville University. St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a charity organization with a mission to find cures for cancer, specifically children’s cancer. Let the games begin as I (attempt) to grow as much hair as I can and then on Saturday March 19, 2016, I get all that hair shaved off as a show support for all of those children, big and small, youthful and not so youthful, who are battling cancer. My annual participation has and always will be to honor those who have won their battle with cancer and also to honor the memory of those heroes who fought with everything they had ‘till they had no more fight in them. The purpose of the annual St. Baldrick’s event is to raise money…money used to conduct research and find ways to conquer cancer. For the next few months I will grow my hair and attempt to raise donations. Making a meaningful donation is easy…simply go to www.StBaldricks.org Donations can be made in memory of a loved one, in support of someone who is currently battling or simply because it is a great cause. We all know someone, a family member, classmate, neighbor, friend, colleague or acquaintance who has fought cancer. Some have won their fight, others have not. Every donation, BIG and small is appreciated and helpful…thank you for your continued support
