I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

UPDATE 2: All I can say isWOW!!! I've raised over $1000 with all my donations to date. I guess its time to set a new goal. How about $1,300. Send out the word to everyone you know. I'm shaving for Endy so I want this to be a super year!! UPDATE: Everyone has been soooo great. I'm going to raise my goal from $600 to $1000!!!! Thankyou everyone who has helped me so far. If you don't know this is my 2nd year to participate in the St. Baldricks event. I hope you'll help me reach that goal so we can find a cure for kids with cancer. This year I want to dedicate my baldness to Endy (see his picture in my photos). Endy is the son of my mom's high school friend Jennifer. Endy was adopted from Africa in 2009 and went to live with Jenn, her husband and their 3 boys. In April 2011, after several days of Endy complaining of stomach pains, not eating and him loosing weight, Endy was admited to the hospital. Test finally showed tumors in his abdomen. Here is a post from Jenn's Facebook page:

"Today we experienced the immeasurable mercy of our God. After Endy's surgery, we were told by the surgeon that he has a rare and deadly form of pancreatic cancer. We mourned, worshipped, and began preparing ourselves for the coming journey. Two hours later, we were told that a miscommunication had occurred. He actually has lymphoma, a cancer with a 90% cure rate in children!"

After several months of chemo, Endy is well and living life as a young boy should. I dedicate this year to Endy!!
