Dear Family & Friends,
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
For the past few years, my wife Suzanne and I, have been supporting our good friend, Matt Wieczorek, in his annual fundraising for St. Baldrick's. Matt has been a fantastic ambassador for this cause and raised monies for childhood cancers for the past 11 years! In this, his 12th year, he has recruited his brother, Jayson Gray, and myself to join him and we have gladly agreed.
As many of you know, and some may not, my family has been personally impacted by childhood cancer as we lost my brother, Nicholas, at the age of 11 to leukemia. He had been in remission but the cancer returned and he eventually lost his courageous battle in 1993. Cancer treatment continues to expand and improve and it is my humble request that you think about a possible donation. Any donation, big or small, is more than appreciated and goes towards the fight to cure childhood cancers.
Our team goal is $10,000 of which, the lion's share is Matt's goal, while Jayson and I each have a goal of $1,500 a piece. I would love to be able to pull my weight on this team and even surpass Matt's expectations, as we support St. Baldrick's and this very worthy cause.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
My sincere thanks and appreciation,
Angelo Isgro - 1st time shavee
