I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lyndsey

Hello Friends!

On March 14, I got my Favorite haircut & style for the 7th time! Every year I shave my hair at a local St. Baldrick's event to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers.

This year we needed to postpone the big event to September and instead had a “virtual” event due to the current health concerns. Big shout out and thank-you to Hair Studio Sonterra in San Antonio, Texas for coming to our rescue - and especially owner, Dana and on-the-spot hairstylist, Jenny.

Can’t wait to see you all again in September for our new date and time, and I’ll get an extra Shave!

Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

In January 2014, our youngest daughter, Lyndsey, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, and in March 2014, I became part of the St. Baldrick’s tradition. Since 2014, I have participated every year and this time will be my 7th event! And to make it extra special, at this year’s event Lyndsey will officially bestow me with the honor of becoming a “Knight of the Bald Table”. All are welcome to come out and join me and my family in celebrating!   And...2019 was an extra special to our family, as It has been FIVE years since Lyndsey completed treatment and officially declared IN REMISSION!

Now I need your support! Please add your donation to fund research and help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

Thank You!
