I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! That may seem silly, but I have some great reasons. When I was 12 my mom was diagnosed with Cancer, and through that time I got an intimate look at the entire treatment process. Also, a family close to ours had a child battle a difficult form of cancer. Through these experiences I saw how cancer doesn't discriminate, and that includes children. Since I've started medical school I want to make an effort to give back, and I feel like this is a great way for me to do so. Every little bit helps!
