I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: A Yard and Inches

Hi friends and family!  Thanks for checking out my link!  Just a little background in case you don’t know me very well.  I used to rock a super short ‘do (see pics) then decided to grow it out to donate my hair again (last time was 14 inches, years ago).  Once I got to growing, I was curious to see how long I could go...I could definitely keep going but it’s time.  My friend’s daughter is battling cancer for the 2nd time in her short life.  She’s an incredible fighter and beyond and inspiration to me!  I want to help make a difference for other kids like her.  So, I’m pledging to shave my head to raise money for kids with cancer!  And my actual hair (all 31 inches of it, probably a lil more by the date) will go to different charity that uses it for kids.  My hair has been grown out for this purpose...so no coloring, no heat, sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, as much damage free tools/ties I could use, etc since November 2010.  I’ve gotten maintenance trims of course, but nothing drastic.  I’m looking forward to being able to help the kids...and would like to say thanks in advance for helping as well!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
