My Story

Sully was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in March of 2014. At the time of diagnosis, he was given a 50% chance of survival. After more than five years of treatment; 29 rounds of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, three types of radiation, a stem cell transplant, two types of immunotherapy, and two relapses Sully was declared to have No Evidence of Disease! At the time we started his last type of treatment, an experimental mix of immunotherapy and chemotherapy, we were out of options. This experimental treatment, funded by donations like yours, is what finally worked. Research dollars are SO important. As one of his oncologists told me "we are almost there, we just have to keep him alive long enough to find what works."  Thank you for supporting Sully and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
