My Story

I am 9 yrs old and I was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer on December 22, 2011. A large mass was found on the right side of my skull, around both eyes, adrenal gland, sternum, shoulders and both hips as well as in my bone marrow. I began chemo therapy Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011. My treatment has consisted of 6 cycles of high dose chemo therapy, a bone marrow transplant, 9 surgeries 12 rounds of radiation and 6 cycles of immunotherapy. I enjoy life! I love to play and be happy. My favorite thing to do is swim, art and build things. I really like music too and I also enjoy reading. With all I have experienced and continue to go through I keep an upbeat, positive attitude and I like to make people smile and laugh.
