My Story

Adaline goes by Addie had been sick for about two weeks before diagnosis. I thought I brought home the stomach bug to her. She was to acute care on March 8th and was told it was just a virus. She was not getting any better. On March 16th she woke up again gagging. An appointment was made. She went to her PCP. Mom and dad was texting back and forth. Mom phone rang mom hears “Sarah stop what you are doing and walk again” from the doctor. She has leukemia. Ambulance ride to the Sanford Childrens hospital. She started treatment on March 17th, 2021. She has had two rounds of 28 days continuous IV along with standard Treatment for ALL.
