My Story

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.Daniel was diagnosed with T Cell ALL Leukemia when he was eight years old. His cancer was aggressive and, unfortunately, spread to his brain. Daniel underwent numerous surgeries including 4 brain surgeries. He was placed in a coma to allow his brain to heal.  After Daniel was brought out of his coma, he spent months healing. He had to relearn how to sit up, walk, talk, eat, etc.. Now at age 12, Daniel is currently in remission! He continues to be monitored and cared for by his team at Connecticut Children's. Daniel still receives Occupational and Physical therapy. Cancer and it's treatment is a lifelong battle that Daniel, and our family, will forever carry with us.
