My Story

Hi, I’m Anya. In October 2020 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. I underwent chemo every 2 weeks for 4 months. I was told there was no evidence of active cancer in February. October 2021 thru my routine testing it was discovered I relapsed. This time chemotherapy was not the recommendation, as I have a rare, chronic type of lymphoma. I am closely monitored and scanned. The cancer continues to grow, yet I’m on a watch and wait. The doctors don’t want to exhaust treatments early on, as I may have to live this way until there is a cure.

I’m asking to please help fund research so that I can live a long healthy life without worries a 12 year old should not have.

Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
