My Story

When I was diagnosed I had to stay at Brenner's Hospital and get chemotherapy for 3 months. Once the cancer was found in my bone marrow, I had to go to Duke to get a transplant. There is a lot more involved in a transplant than just treatment. I can't go in public places, eat certain foods or have my puppy sleep with me anymore. Then I  caught 2 viruses and ended up back in the hospital at Duke for another month. Now some of my restrictions are being lifted and I'm getting home schooled again. I am feeling better and on my way to recovery! Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldricks Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
