My Story

Luke was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on July 7, 2017. He fought a touch and painful battle against his disease. His selfless nature always made sure that he kept a smile on people's faces. He had a contagious sense of humor even when the chips were down. He accepted on June 4, 2018 that his cancer was incurable and decided to spend the remainder of his time at home with family and frequent visits from cousins and friends. Whilst battling Osteosarcoma, Luke enjoyed playing video games! He was well able to hold his own at Rocket League and Fortnite which kept him in close contact with his family and friends. He was an avid and super fast reader. Lego and Star Wars were also great passions of his. Luke will be remembered as an incredibly bright kid who maintained an incredible sense of humor and dignity throughout his battle. His short life was an inspiration and encouragement to others. His faith filled life and prayers were a comfort to everyone around him. He leaves behind golden memories to his Dad, Mom, four brothers and two sisters of which he was the youngest. Thank you ahead of time for supporting the St. Baldrick's Foundation to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure. - The Gallagher family
